Filesoft Academy — Course 4 Lesson 6
Created by Plato · Filesoft

Requires FileMaker Pro 26 desktop on macOS, sold separately. Admin, blank password. Keep a backup; work in a copy. Local teaching file, not a production security template. Do not enable hosting.

Starting file: latest closed owner Lesson 5, preserving records and edits.

Choose Project Progress Report from the Layout menu, Browse/List View. Show All for every project. For one project, open it from Contact Project Hub and then switch to this report; the Projects found set carries across. Sort by related Contacts LastName, FirstName, then Projects ProjectName. Check found set before Preview. Use A4 landscape and inspect every page for clipping. Save as PDF with Records being browsed for the found set, then inspect the PDF.

Return using Exit Preview, then select Contact Project Hub in the Layout menu and Show All if needed. No new navigation script is added. One report body is a project; counts use TasksForProject and both project/contact keys. Empty projects show zeros and No tasks. Unassigned tasks do not contribute.

Use the final worksheet to test assignment changes, ownership isolation, counts, status changes, return navigation and close/reopen persistence. Native appearance and runtime behavior are owner-tested.
